Lockdown New's. and how we can prevent the delta crisis.

As you know Auckland,Waikato and Northland are in stage one of level 3.

There were 18,985 vaccines administered yesterday - 5335 first doses and 13,650 second doses. Overall, New Zealand sits on 86.6 percent first dose percentage, and 70.8 per cent second dose.just over 7960 jabs were given to Aucklanders yesterday -1730 first doses and 6234 second doses.

Overall, 90 per cent of the region's eligible population has had a first dose and 77 per cent have had their second.

But the Government has said that all three DHBs in the region need to have a 90 per cent second-dose vaccination rate for their populations, before freedoms can kick in under the new traffic-light system.Two of the Waikato's cases announced today are yesterday's cases from Ōtorohanga.

The Book:The strength of root's and Canterbury Quake

 Kia ora whanau,

Today me and my classmates were told to do a venn diagram about the book we read so far which is called "The strength of root".But we also had to compare it to canterbury Quakes.Soooo I will sum up the story.So literally it was a unnamed boy who was alone in a plantation and well a tsunami was heading his way,and for Maddie in the book of Canterbury Quakes it was a lovely day for Maddie until the earthquake arrived and shuk the who christchurch.

The 2 main characters in both story are:MADDIE and the NAMELESS BOY.

Well Maddie is a girl and the other is a boy,and she is more afraid to do it.

IF your wondering...What is she talking about? and thinking what is the power of yet?

well the power if yes is a amazing saying and  simple way to start changing to a growth mindset, is by the use of a little word, yet. 

for me the power of yet means:

I can't say this properly yet.

I can't draw this yet.

I don't understand this yet.

And what I really cant do YET is..speaking a different language apart from Indonesian and Arab.

Today Me and Jessica(in room 6) went to Wesley primary school!There were 7 schools including us attending the meeting.The schools were,Hay park,Wesley intermediate,Wesley primary,May road and us Owairaka,Waikowhai primary and last but not least,New Windsor.

The exciting part about the meeting was that we got to share what we did and our personality.

So first our backyard evolved by trees and nature little bit of villages and only Maori people .

Next there were people coming in and moving into the city and tried to find places to stay.

Then there were boats,shops and houses it was a town to city!oh and also

MORE people coming in migrating from all of the part of the world (internal migration: moving within a state, country, or continent)

finally they all settled into New Zealand and lived there.

HAURAKI GULF PROJECT\Slides

 Hey bloggers,it's ME (Mariam)!! ROSE,ISABELLA,RITA,CHARLOTTE and ME did a project about Hauraki gulf. IT is about saving creatures It's a slideshow!ENJOY👍👍👍

The pros and cons of lockdown learning .

PROS:You can relax for some time because your teacher doesn't teach you unless your mum is a TEACHER you are not as lucky and me.

PROS:Instead of getting out and getting fresh air you sit on the couch just like a couch potato.So get ready for some netflix!(IF YOU HAVE IT.

PROS:You can have more time with your family but my mum and dad are boy happy when 5 of us go to school.We make them go wild!

CONS: You have to buy toilet paper as fast as you can or other people will take them all.

CONS:You can't see your friends and you have to maintain your self to stay 2 metre apart

CONS:You cannot go to the pools and you have to use gmail to ask your teacher or friends about something.Sometimes it is hard to get on google meet.
